Executor under Spanish law

A person appointed by a testator to perform the estate-related tasks assigned within statutory limits.

What to bear in mind

Powers depend on the will and the law. Appointment does not automatically confer unrestricted authority to distribute or sell assets.

Preparing for your consultation

Gather the will or testamentary records, kinship documents and a list of assets and debts. Applicable law may vary because of regional civil-law affiliation (vecindad civil) or international elements.
